When Sally was young, her first rocking horse opened up a world of adventure to her. She rode her horse across imaginary lands crossed by sparkling rivers and dotted with villages and castles. She cared for it and brushed it just as she would a real horse. Many years later, after being very busy bringing up her family, she fell for the charms of a rescued mare and devoted much of her spare time to her new friend.
